Freddie Owens drilled a three-pointer from the left corner with one second left Saturday night, giving Wisconsin a 61-to-60 victory over Tulsa and a trip to the NCAA's "Sweet Sixteen.''

It wasn't even certain the Owens would play until game time because of an ankle sprain he suffered Thursday.

He ended up hitting the game-winner that cappedf a furious rally for the Badgers.

Wisconsin advances to the Midwest Regional semifinals with the win. They play Thursday in Minneapolis against the winner of Sunday's game between Kentucky and Utah in Nashville.

Mike Wilkinson had 18 points and eight rebounds for Wisconsin, while Devin Harris scored 12 and Alando Tucker 10. The Badgers survived despite a six-point effort by their best player, Kirk Penney.

Kevin Johnson scored 23 points and Jason Parker had 17 for Tulsa.
