Theater students at the University of Stevens Point are going to see some dramatic changes in the Fine Arts Center. The university's chancellor says the 1,250 fine arts and communications majors will be able to see and feel the difference.
"We're going to have more room," UWSP Chancellor Tom George said. "We're going to be expanding it about 60 percent of the space, also fixing the space so it's better, and putting people in better useable space."
The chancellor says that right now space in the center is very tight. He says the university should have bids in by mid April, and there may be a groundbreaking ceremony within two months.
