A 19-year-old woman from the town of Hull is recovering from injuries. This after her home caught fire Thursday morning. Jennifer Wegner and her roommate were both able to escape the home, although she did suffer some burns on her leg.
"I didn't even feel it," Jennifer Wegner said. "My mind wasn't there. I only felt it when I went over to my neighbor's house."
Six trucks arrived on the scene just after 7 a.m. Thursday. The Hull fire chief says this fire was a bit of a challenge, because they weren't able to get inside the home.
"Mobile homes are difficult fires to fight," Hull Fire Chief Mark Kluck said, "making an interior attack difficult because of the speed at which the fire moves through the mobile home."
Twenty-two firefighters worked to put out the fire.
