UPDATE: Fred Fischer of Adams County tells NewsChannel 7 that his 16-year-old daughter was located and questioned by Connecticut police but then released.

Evelyne Fischer, 16, was last seen at home in the Township of Springville around 10 p.m. on June 13. Investigators say Evelyne left the home with a large amount of cash. She was believed to be with Tyler Robert Hand, 20.

An Adams County Sheriff's Lieutenant confirmed Thursday that Evelyn was found by authorities in Connecticut. According to Mr. Fischer, his daughter is no longer with authorities and is still in Connecticut, likely with Hand.

When reached for comment today, the Adam's County Sheriff's Department had no further information but did tell us that the case has been turned over to the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families.

We've attempted to contact the Wisconsin and Connecticut Departments of Children and Families. Our calls have not been returned.

Few details are yet known, but the Adams County Sheriff's Department says a teen missing for more than two weeks has been found in Connecticut.

Authorities say Evelyne Fischer, 16, was last seen at home in the Township of Springville around 10 p.m. on June 13. Investigators say Evelyne left the home with a large amount of cash. She was believed to be with Tyler Robert Hand, 20.

The department said Hand may be headed to his home state of Connecticut. He was last seen June 13 at the CITGO Travel Mart in Wisconsin Dells with the intent to use Greyhound Bus Line to travel back to Connecticut.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest for 2nd degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, disorderly conduct and battery.

According to authorities Hand has not been located.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department says in runaway cases it is the parents responsibility to make arrangements for the child to be brought back home.

Evelyne is expected to be in the care of state or county human services in Connecticut.

Tyler Hand, 20
