The circus is back in town and it arrived by air tonight in Green Bay.

Brett Favre, wife Deanna and his agent Bus Cook landed just after seven o’clock.

The trio chartered a plane from Hattiesburg this afternoon.

NewsChannel 7’s Randy Bise caught Favre getting off the plane in Green Bay tonight.

When Favre arrived he avoided talking to any reporters and simply waived to more than a hundred fans before swiftly jumping into and taking off in a red Cadillac Escalade.

Fans Bise spoke with at the airport following his departure had mixed reactions to Favre being back in Green Bay.

Favre told a reporter for the newspaper in Biloxi, Mississippi that he wants to play for the Packers because they have as good a chance as any to win the Super Bowl.

I've always said I'm a Patriots fan by birth & Packer fan by choice. I'm still a fan, but honestly disappointed with the whole QB situation, this hurts my heart to watch unfold. I've already "mourned" the loss of Favre, I don't want to do it again, GO AARON RODGERS! GO PACK GO!
