The parents of the murdered University of Wisconsin student from Marshfield are dropping a lawsuit against Dane County.
Court Documents obtained by NewsChannel 7 show the paperwork dismissing the claim against Dane County and the 911 Dispatcher who failed to repond to the call from Brittany Zimmermann's phone, was filed yesterday.
Zimmermann's body was found in her downtown Madison apartment in early April 2008. The killer has not been caught.
Madison police said a 911 call was made from her cell phone at about the the time of the murder, but it was inaudible. The dispatcher never called back or instructed police to investigate the scene.
