Weston Public Safety Committee Looking for New Fire Chief
The public safety committee in Weston is now looking for a new Fire Chief after Chief Mike Pierce turns in resignation letter.

The public safety committee in Weston is now looking for a new Fire Chief.
Village officials say they have accepted the resignation of current Chief Mike Pierce, effective August 25th.
Pierce told Village leaders he has accepted a position with Aspirus Hospital. He is leaving his position because of family health issues.
He says he's going to Aspirus because it "facilitates frequent, extended visits with my father who is facing significant challenges" due to health issues.
Pierce was hired by the village in 2004 and helped transition the department from a volunteer service, into a full-time work force.
The department handles more than 900 emergency calls a year.
