New Wisconsin State Patrol Class Begins Training Save Email Print

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new class of Wisconsin State Patrol recruits is set to start training this weekend.

The patrol's 57th class will begin 21 weeks of training at Fort McCoy on Sunday. They'll learn firearms proficiency, arrest tactics, lifesaving techniques and how to investigate crashes.

Graduates will be sworn in this December.

Members of the class come from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. They range in age from 20 to 38.
