Nearly a year after it was shut down for safety concerns, the McCleary Bridge between Wausau and Rib Mountain is open again.
A Wisconsin Department of Transportation spokeswoman says traffic may be restricted at times next week as crews put finishing touches on the repairs.
The bridge closed last August after an inspection revealed concerns about the strength of its piers.
Two lanes open later but the bridge has been fully shut down periodically during work to repair it.
