There are many decisions when we drive up to a drive through at a fast food restaurant.
You may know exactly what you want every time from the normal menu, but did you know some restaurants have a secret menu?
Some do, and some don't. We found out in this week's "Pin it in a Minute" that you should be careful when searching secret menus online, and that some aren't real.
At Panera, there's a "Hidden Menu" that contains breakfast options and lunch options that are more health-conscious. We ordered the "Power Steak Lettuce Wraps" from the pin on Pinterest from mypanera.panerabread.com.
At Starbucks, there's a "Secret Menu" that contains a number of off-menu items. We ordered the "Blended Strawberry Lemonade," which is a strawberry lemonade frappucino. The barista we spoke to said a lot of the time people will order it, and they may not know what is in the secret menu item, so the best way to order is to know what goes in your drink in case no one else does. That pin was found on Pinterest from themetapicture.com.
However, not all secret menus online hold to be true, like the one found on techeblog.com about McDonald's. Before you order any item off a "secret menu" online, make sure it comes from a credible source.
