Man Who Gave Accused Murderer a Ride to Crime Scene Pleads Guilty

The man whom police say gave Aaron Harvath a ride just before a fatal shooting in Stevens Point could spend less than a month more in jail.
Dean Choate admitted in court he's guilty of obstructing an officer. Police say he drove Harvath to the scene before the murder of Dirk Wolf, and then lied about knowing Harvath had a gun.
In exchange for his guilty plea, Choate will serve a 30-day jail sentence and pay a fine of $473. He'll get credit for three-days already served and might be able to spend all but five-days on home monitoring.
