UPDATE: Mon 3:09 PM, Jan. 6, 2014

Wausau Fire Department Battalion Chief Douglas Beula tells NewsChannel 7 a tow motor [forklift] stuck a pole causing the roof collapse at Graphic Packaging late Saturday night.

A nearly 40 by 80-foot opening in the roof was caused by the collapse.

No one was injured during the collapse.

Employees returned to work Monday.

It is unclear the dollar amount of damage that was caused.

Employees are cleaning up after part of the roof collapsed late Saturday night at Graphic Packaging International on Central Bridge Street in Wausau.

Wausau Fire Department Battalion Chief Douglas Beula estimated around twenty employees were working at the time of the collapse.

No injuries are reported at this time.

Many of the employees were sent home.

Wausau Fire responded to the call after 10 p.m.

The about 40 by nearly 80-foot opening caused by the collapse was in the manufacturing area, according to Beula.

Large sprinkler system pipes were damaged in the collapse causing significant water damage.

Beula said the collapse may have been "human caused."

Plant employees are now dealing with isolating electrical components that are located in the area of the collapse.

Crews are responding to a fire at Graphic Packaging International on Central Bridge Street in Wausau.

Our crew on the scene tells us flames are not visible from the outside of the plant. It appears a portion of the roof collapsed inside of the plant. Employees have been evacuated. The Wausau Fire Department remains on scene.
