If you're one of the many with a golden ticket to Lambeau, you'll want to be sure to bundle up good and tight. This Sunday's match up between the Packers and the 49ers could be the third coldest game in NFL history.
Packer fan Samantha Maybille spent Friday gearing up at Cabela's in Green Bay.
"I'm here actually looking for snow pants and a warmer winter jacket," she tells NewsChannel 7.
Maybille is just one of the near 80,000 fans expected to pack the stands Sunday. Two faces that won't be there, however, are those of Leon and Gladys Calewarts. The couple has been season ticket holders for 62 years. In that time they've been to every home playoff game, two Superbowls and the Ice Bowl.
"You couldn't even drink a cup of coffee it would freeze before you got it to your mouth," Leon laughs while Gladys adds, "It was a very fun experience."
An experience they say was priceless, but one they wouldn't repeat at their age.
"Oh all the die hard packer fans will be there no question about it. Dress in layers. Ill be cheering them and the packers on from my comfortable seat in the living room hopefully," Leon says chuckling.
But for the fans that will be exposed to the elements, the people at Cabelas recommend dressing in layesr. Frist they suggest a heavy base layer followed by a medium layer and finally a waterproof outer layer.
Don't forget about your bottom half either.
"Typically what we suggest is a heavy weight sock for this type of weather, usually a wool. Wool is a very want natural insulator," Lead of Apparel at Cabelas Beth Handricks advises.
She adds to buy a pari fo good quality winter boots with thinsulate levels between 800 grams and 1,000 grams.
After her shopping spree, Maybille is certainly ready for the game and if you can weather the cold, Leon and Gladys are living proof it's a memory that will last a lifetime.
"[My favorite memory is] just being there I guess," Gladys smiles. "The whole thing, just the experience. The fans around you. Thawing out when you got home"
The Packers announced Friday any fan that comes to the game Sunday will get two free cups of hot chocolate.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Medical experts say Packers fans shouldn't worry about overdressing for Sunday's game.
The National Weather Service predicts the high will be zero with winds of up to 21 mph. Low temperatures are expected at minus 20.
Dr. Brandon Boehm, from Bellin Health says people can always take off layers.
Experts say fans should plan to wear at least three layers. The first should be made of a wicking material, followed by a warm layer like a fleece jacket or sweatshirt. The last layer should be a windproof jacket and snow pants.
Fans should wear waterproof gloves or mittens, insulated socks and boots, a hat and scarf. Boehm says drinking warm fluids rather than alcohol also is a good idea.
