A 26-year-old Nekoosa man convicted of entering his sister's home and killing her kitten is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday.
Brian Sentkowski reached a plea with prosecutors in April, avoiding a jury trial.
According to court documents, the woman said someone entered her Saratoga home between Nov. 27 and Nov. 28. The woman told investigators their was a large spot of blood in the living and her kitten was missing.
Investigators contacted the woman's brother, Sentkowski, who said he was upset no one was at the home and he was upset with himself for drinking. According to the criminal complaint, Sentkowski said he took his anger out on the first thing he saw-- the kitten.
Investigators say Sentkowski said he killed the animal with a knife and discarded its body in a ditch.
