The Wausau woman found living in Mexico after disappearing almost a decade ago is revealing new information to police about how she believes she got there.
Wausau police say Connie McCallister now says that she was drugged and taken to the country against her will.
Officers also say the FBI is involved in this case in attempt to bring the now 26-year-old McCallister and her three children back to the US.
Then, they hope to be able to get some answers about how and why she ended up in Mexico.
Police say she didn't tell them she was drugged at a party in Milwaukee back in 2004 and then ended up in Mexico until yesterday.
McCallister did not offer police a reason for why she failed to mention that when she talked with investigators back in September.
Her re-entry into the US is complicated by the fact that she has no passport or ID.
McCallister's family says she wants to come home and they're hoping to have her back by Thanksgiving or Christmas.
