NEW INFO: Missing Rapids Boy was Playing at a Friends House


Rapids police tell NewsChannel 7 the boy was playing at a friends house and was never in danger.


Wisconsin Rapids Police say a boy reported missing at about 6pm is back home, safe and sound.

The boy, 9-year-old David Evans was reported missing at about 6pm.

Officers say he failed to return home from school this afternoon.

His parents searched his friends homes and other places he might be, but could not find him.

He returned home, safe and sound about an hour later.

A police officer is on the scene to get the details about the where the boy was during the time he was gone.
