Wal-mart tells us they're expecting a large crowd for Sarah Palin's visit to the Rib Mountain store on Thursday.
The stop is to promote her new book "Good Tidings and Great Joy".
A schedule released last Wednesday says the 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate will be at the Wal-Mart in Rib Mountain from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, November 14.
Stops in neighboring states include Barnes & Noble Booksellers – Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, Mich. and the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., on Friday, Nov. 22.
On her Facebook page, Palin said the recent Religious Music Controversy in the Wausau School District is the reason she decided to stop in the Wausau area. From her Facebook page:
Once we read Todd Starnes' coverage of one school district's move to add a mathematical equation to a school choirs choice of songs, I knew we had to visit the community of Wausau, WI, to encourage the good citizens there to keep up the good fight! We'll be there this Thursday promoting "Good Tidings and Great Joy" in which we discuss steps citizens can take, just like the ones those in Wausau are doing, to protect our constitutional right guaranteeing freedom of faith. Hope to see you there.
