Paper Continues Yearlong Look at Aging

The best time to start thinking about life as a senior citizen is when you're young. That's according to journalists at the Wausau Daily Herald, newspaper partner of Newschannel 7.

The paper is running the second monthly installment of its yearlong series on aging Sunday. Planning for the future is something the Herald will take a look at.

"All the data shows that if you invest $50 a month beginning at age 22," said Mark Baldwin, the paper's executive editor, "you're going to have a large nest egg in 40 years."

The Herald will cover a different aspect of aging every month for the rest of the year. This Sunday's three-page spread will cover how aging affects the entire family.
