Pet Cemetary Closes, Owners Moving Remains
The Thistlerose Pet Cemetary and Crematory in the Milwaukee suburb of Greendale is being sold after closing two years ago.
Sex symbol Jayne Mansfield is among those who's pets remains are burried there.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Sex symbol Jayne Mansfield was looking for eternal rest for her Chihuahua Gallina when she buried her in a Milwaukee area pet cemetery in 1964.
But it turns out nothing lasts forever.
Thistlerose Pet Cemetery and Crematory in Greendale is being sold after closing two years ago.
A number of pet owners are digging up their dogs and cats and moving them to other locations.
One pet owner paid $1,500 for a grave and marker for her Bichon in 2005. Now she's paying nearly $1,000 to move the beloved animal to a new spot.
The handwritten marker for Mansfield's dog has been removed and stored for safekeeping and a letter has been sent to her daughter, "Law and Order" star Mariska Hargitay, asking whether the family wants the casket moved.
Hargitay has not responded so far.
