UPDATE: Tomahawk Man Killed in Weekend Crash

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a 34-year-old Tomahawk man killed in a crash early Saturday morning.

Authorities say the vehicle was heading south on Highway 51, just south Highway 8, when it ran off the road and into the median. The vehicle overturned causing it to become airborne before coming to rest in the northbound lane.

The driver, Kevin Eggebrecht was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash was called in by a passerby by at 1:38 a.m. Saturday morning.
