A Kaukauna man accused of murdering his wife early Wednesday morning was arrested in Lincoln County later in the day.
Police say Joseph Huisman was already gone when they found his wife Pamela in her bed at their Kaukauna home around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Police put out an alert for Huisman's car.
Just after 8 a.m. a State Trooper saw his vehicle on Highway 8 outside Tomahawk.
Huisman was described as armed and dangerous and possibly suicidal, so the trooper called for backup.
Huisman was arrested without incident, and police found a shotgun in his vehicle.
Kaukauna police transported Huisman back to his hometown.
