Dump Truck Shot in Lincoln County

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department wants to know who shot at a dump truck last Monday night in the Town of Corning.

According to the sheriff's department, the Mack truck had been parked overnight on County Road M, near County Road MM when it was damaged.

When workers returned the next morning they noticed fluids leaking and a bullet hole in the radiator.

A bullet was found on the scene that appeared to have been shot from a pistol.

Deputies are investigating the incident and are looking for the public's help in locating whoever is responsible. If you have information call the sheriff's department at 715-536-6272 or Crime Stoppers at 715-536-3726. Callers can remain anonymous and me be eligible for a cash prize.
