UPDATE: Drug Bust Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

The suspect in a June drug bust at a Rothschild hotel said he's not guilty.

Charles Parham, 31, is charged with six felonies related to the sale and distribution of heroin. Parham is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing an officer.

Parham remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.

His next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.

The suspect in June 27 drug bust at Rothschild hotel is expected to return to court later this month to find out if his case will head to trial.

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department says a drug bust at a Rothschild hotel netted nearly $4,800
worth of heroin, illegal mushrooms, and meth.

Charles Parham, 31, is charged with three counts of manufacturing/ delivering heroin, maintaining a drug trafficking place, three counts of possessing drugs, and obstructing an officer.

He's free on a $5,000 signature and will return to court July 15.

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department says a drug bust at a Rothschild hotel netted nearly $4,800 worth of heroin, illegal mushrooms, and meth.

The drug bust happened Thursday, June 27.

According to a news release, a 31-year-old man was arrested and is expected to be charged with manufacturing heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of meth with the intent to deliver, possession of psilocbin mushroom with the intent to deliver, and violating probation.

Officers also seized $1,300 in cash.

The suspect is expected to be formally charged next week.
