You should always watch out for deer crossing the road when driving in Wisconsin, but DNR wardens said now your chances of hitting a deer with your car is even higher than usual.

That's because in the spring deer go out into the open to look for food and to get away from the bugs in the woods.

Just this past week there were 25 car-deer collisions in Lincoln County alone.

If you see a deer the best thing to do is slow down as much as possible to either avoid hitting it or reduce the impact.
