State Representative Scott Suder says he'll focus on job creation, lowering taxes and community safety in his bid for re-election.

The Abbotsford republican will seek his 6th term in representing the 69th Assembly District.

The lawmaker made waves last term over accusations that his former girlfriend, Lisa Brabazon of Wausau, stole money from him.

Suder says he hopes his personal life doesn't interfere with his campaign.

"The fact is the woman in question has been charged with 15 felony counts and 4 misdemeanors and it's in the court system right now, so the D.A. is handling it and I'm gonna run my campaign," said Rep. Suder.

He says his campaign will focus on creating good paying jobs, blocking tax increases and making our local communities safer places to live, work, and raise a family.

I'm glad he's creating good paying jobs and making the area a safer place to live and raise a family. How much has he done during his first five terms to accomplish these goals? Introducing bills to save the American flag and trying to keep gays from getting married doesn't add up to his lofty goals for the sixth term.
