People from all over our area had an opportunity Saturday night to taste test some of the best food from local restaurants and it was all for a good cause. The 5th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Taste was held at the Grand Theater.

There was also a Big Chef Showdown. A chef from Red Eye Brewing Company went head to head with a chef from The Hoffman House to see who's the best. It's all to raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization here in NorthCentral Wisconsin. "We are raising money because we have about 251 kids that are on our waiting list that are waiting for mentors here in the Marathon County area," said Linda Koepke, Program Director.

If you're interested in becoming a big brother or a big sister, call (715) 848-7207.
