Gov. Doyle is ordering state agencies to turn down their thermostats.

Gov. Doyle is ordering state agencies to turn down their thermostats.
The temperature at the state Capitol is sitting at 68 Tuesday (November 22, 2005) morning, down from Monday's 72.
Doyle says he is cutting utility costs after hours and on the weekends for state buildings, and he says state employees can help by turning off their lights and shutting down their computers when they're not using them.
Doyle is trying to reduce the expected $10 million extra the state will pay due to rising energy costs.
