The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department is releasing more details about a serious crash Monday on US Highway 10.

The dump truck then swerved into a semi that was also traveling east on Highway 10.

Captain Rasmussen says three people inside the dump truck sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver, Michael Mullin, 18, and a passenger, Kalvin Carcamo, 25, both of Minnesota, were seriously injured.

The vehicle they were traveling in is described as a small dump truck typically used by landscaping companies. The vehicle does have a capacity to transport five people.

So far, Mullin has not been issued any citations.

The accident remains under investigation.
