Body of 2nd Man Recovered from Lake Michigan

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) - Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of two Sheboygan men who swept into Lake Michigan by winds and high waves.

Sheboygan County deputies say searchers recovered the body of 37-year-old Kurt K. Netzer Saturday afternoon and found the body of 21-year-old David Diener Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say the two men and a woman were swept off a breakwall and into the water Friday. The woman was rescued.

Kayla Ortigoza tells The Sheboygan Press Diener, who is her brother, and Netzer went out to retrieve fishing gear that Diener had lost the night before, but conditions were worse than they thought.

She says Diener has a 1-year-old son. She says the family is devastated.
