Two people were killed and three other injured after lightning struck a barn in Kentucky.
According to CNN, the victims were working in a barn in Buckeye, 35 miles south of Lexington when the bolt struck.
The victims as Bobby Maggard, 29, and Scotty Elam, 25, both of Lancaster, KY.
Eight people were reported to be in the barn at the time, and five of them were hit by the lightning charge. Of the three injured, one was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The coroner told a Lexington television station it was the first lightning death he's ever investigated in 11 years of service.
