The Waushara County Sheriff's Department say alcohol was believed to be a factor in ATV vs. motocross bike accident that send two people to the hospital.
First Responders were sent to a home on State Road 22 just after 6 p.m. on Friday, July 4. The initial investigation showed that one person was operating an ATV and another person was operating a motocross bike when they collided. Both operators were thrown from their vehicles.
Both people were transported to hospitals by air ambulances.
The crash is still under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin State Patrol are assisting with the investigation. The Wild Rose Fire Department and the Waushara County Emergency Medical Services also responded.
