The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department says a plane crashed while arriving at EAA's Airventure in Oshkosh.

The department says a descending plane hit some parked trucks on the airport grounds just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The pilot and his passenger were transferred to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

WBAY-TV reports that officials closed the airport to all landings for about 2 1/2 hours after the crash.
