Two people are scheduled to return to count next month in western Wisconsin after they're accused of abusing their three children.
According to WEAU-TV, Shannon Draves, 30 and Christopher Dietrich, 36, are facing five felony charges related to the alleged abuse of their children, ages 5, 9 and 11.
According court documents, two of the children were rarely fed. The children were also forced to stand in a corner with their hands on their heads for hours at a time. Another child said they were left in a room wearing only underwear for five days, only being let out to go to the bathroom and was only fed bread.
The couple lives in Centuria, which is 50 miles west of Rice Lake.
Charges were filed in Polk County this week. The two will make their initial appearances May 6.
