Officers from the Langlade and Forest County Sheriff's Department have arrested two people after an investigation into illegal drug activity at a bar in Wolf River.
In January, investigators say they received a series of tips and leads regarding drug transactions allegedly occurring at Bob and Joni’s Bar located at the intersection of State Highway 55 and State Highway 64, northeast of Antigo.
According to court documents, undercover officers were able to purchase marijuana from the bartender, Amanda Walrath, 27, on three occasions.
Investigators say the business owners' son, Jeremy Walters, 32, was seen retrieving the marijuana for Walrath.
Amanda Walrath, of Antigo, is charged with three counts of delivering THC, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an illegally obtained prescription. She remains behind bars on a $20,000 cash bond.
Jeremy Walters, of White Lake, is charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, possessing with intent to sell THC, delivering THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an illegally obtained prescription.
Walters is not in custody at this time.
Both suspects are expected to return to court next month.
