UPDATE: Suspects in Tomahawk Drug Bust to Learn if Case Heads to Trial

Two people charged with operating a large scale marijuana grow are expected to learn if there is enough evidence for their cases to head to head to trial Thursday afternoon.

Jessica Teich, 38 and Jamaal Wilson, 33, were taken into custody April 10 after investigators executed a search warrant at home on East Lincoln Ave in Tomahawk. Police say they seized 44 plants-- calling it the largest bust in three decades.

They are both charged with four counts including maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Teich is free on $5,000 cash bond. Wilson remains in custody on a $25,000 cash bond.

The Tomahawk Police Chief says two people are in custody after what the department is calling the largest bust in 30 years.

The department executed a search warrant at a home on East Lincoln Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Police say they seized 44 marijuana plants, all in different stages of growth.

Jessica Teich, age 38 and Jamaal Wilson, age 33, were taken into custody and are expected to be charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver and Manufacture of Marijuana Friday in Lincoln County Court.

Chief Elvins indicated that this warrant is part of an ongoing investigation by the Tomahawk Police Department and the Northcentral Drug Enforcement Task Force (NORDEG).
