2 Arrested in Forest Co. Drug Bust

Two people are behind bars in the Forest County Jail after drug bust early Wednesday morning in Crandon.

According to the Sheriff's Department, around 2:13 a.m. Officer executed a search warrant at a home on the 4000 block of Midway Lane in the Town of Laona.

According to a press release, officers seized cocaine and marijuana along with drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff's department says Andrew Phillips, 39, and Taylor La barge, 19, are expected to be charged with delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, maintain a drug trafficking place, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff says the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may be made.
