Fortunately, now snow doesn't always mean no customers for those who make winter sports their business. Places like the Granite Peak ski hill say snow-lovers can hit the slopes on the white stuff they make from machines. Even though Northcentral Wisconsin experienced wind chills of more than 30 degrees below zero this week, many customers still came out.

The ski hill's manager says he's used to business going up and down with the thermometer.

"We have a lot of die hard season pass holders who will still be here on a daily basis, but it's definitely been slow 'cuz of the cold weather. It's typical Wisconsin weather, you know. You're going to have those cold trends that are going to affect your business, but we'll make it up," said the manager.

Workers say warmer weather does make a difference. They say they saw three times the amount of business on Friday, than they had seen on any given day earlier in the week.
