OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (AP) -- A temporary restraining order has frozen the assets of a former surgeon accused of slamming his SUV into a car and killing a pregnant school administrator and her 10-year-old daughter.

A judge granted the request to freeze assets of 55-year-old Mark Benson of the town of Summit, who faces a civil lawsuit seeking damages on behalf of the victims' families.

The crash April 25th killed 39-year-old Jennifer Bukosky, who was associate principal of Oconomowoc High School, her fetus and her daughter. Bukosky's 12-year-old son survived with minor injuries. Another child with them was severely injured but also survived.

Benson is charged with three counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. Prosecutors have said he took a combination of prescription drugs prior to the accident.
