NEENAH, Wis. (AP) -- Police detectives in Neenah plan to meet with a special prosecutor today about possible charges in the case of a woman who told police she suffocated her 2-year-old son.

The 27-year-old woman also told police she heard voices tell her to kill the boy.

The woman has been employed by Winnebago County, but officials haven't said what her job duties were.

Because of her connection to Winnebago County, the Milwaukee County chief deputy district attorney office is serving as special prosecutor.

The woman remains in a secure facility. She has been in custody since Monday. Her mother called police that morning to report the killing.
