There's a free program the next couple of nights on how to raise volunteerism in your town.
The Community Progress Initiative is holding a two-hour long event on how to recruit and retain people to local groups, organizations and community projects.
Monday's (October 3, 2005) session is at the Alexander Park Shelter House in Port Edwards.
Tuesday (October 4, 2005) at the Village Hall in Rudolph, Wednesday (October 5, 2005) at the Town of Rome Town Hall, and Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday (October 6, 2005).
All sessions go from 6-8 p.m. and are free to everyone.
