Kids from the FACT movement, or "Fighting Against Corporate Tobacco, were out in downtown Wausau this weekend. They were handing out information about the dangers of second-hand smoke and what they call lies from big tobacco companies.

A display of 125 pairs of shoes showcased how many people in Marathon County die from tobacco-related illnesses each year, and with a human billboard, group members publicly praised Wausau's restaurant smoking ban.

"We're trying to tell people that a smoke-free environment is a great place to live," says Devin Dawson, a member of FACT.

"We hope to have a very positive impact and hope people realize big tobacco is lying," says Ellice Bushe, a member of FACT.

FACT includes kids from the Hurley, Rhinelander, and Wausau areas. The group works in conjunction with the Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Control Program.
