Despite the revenue movie crew members and actors brought to several Wisconsin towns, Including one NorthCentral Wisconsin town when they filmed at the Little Bohemia Resort.

Manitowish Waters did not have as profitable a winter as the previous year.

The town relies on snow for winter tourism. Unfortunately, other states like Illinois and Indiana received just as much snow if not more than Wisconsin; Which kept more people enjoying winter sports like skiing and snowmobiling in their own state.

Director of the Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce Jodi McMahon says. "It was bitter sweet in the fact that we had fairly decent snow conditions for a good part of the winter and we had a long winter."

McMahon says other reasons tourist destinations did not include Manitowish Waters was due to the dangerous road conditions from the snow and the high cost of gasoline.
