On Monday, fire investigators spent the day searching through the remains of the house on the corner of Spruce and 12th.
The damage was severe making their efforts more difficult. They believe the fire started in the basement, but nothing is certain yet.
Due to the severity of the fire, it could be some time before an exact cause is known.
Luckily no one was home at the time of the blaze, and winds were light so the fire didn't spread to the neighbor's homes.
