A Merrill teen is in fair condition after a jet ski accident July 28 on Lake Alexander.
According to a press release, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two vessel crash on the lake just after 4 p.m. Merrill EMS and deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and a Conservation Warden from the DNR responded to the scene.
Amber Clark, 18, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill and then flown to Aspirus in Wausau due to her injuries. She is now listed in fair condition.
Doug Bannister, 30, was operating the jet ski. He wasn't injured. A 23-year-old female passenger did not sustain any injuries either.
Bannister was taken into custody on a probation hold.
All parties involved in the crash were wearing personal flotation devices.
The crash remains under investigation.
