Some Wisconsin residents who signed up for the state's telemarketer no call list say they're still being bugged by solicitors.
If you joined the list before Dec. 1, state law now prohibits telemarketers from calling with a few exceptions -- non-profit organizations, political groups and surveys.
Since the list went into effect, state consumer protection officials are averaging 50 to 60 complaints a day.
Spokeswoman Cynthia Sich says the most important thing you can do in making a complaint is to provide as much information as possible.
Sich says during the call, try to get the company's name, telemarketing license number and a phone number.
A half million people have signed up for the list so far.
