Officer Marty Skibba of the Stevens Point Police offered a refresher course to some area banks on how to prevent a robbery.
With two robberies in recent weeks, bank employees everywhere have crime prevention on their minds.
Officer Skibba told employees during a robbery bank tellers could help law enforcement by paying attention and being a good witness.
But tellers also need to be aware before a robbery, because many crooks "case a bank" before they strike.
If a teller notices someone who stands out from the normal customers by appearing to count tellers or looking for cameras, they should tell their supervisors and the police.
