A 21-year-old Marshfield woman has been found dead in downtown Madison.

Police say Brittany Sue Zimmermann, a pre-med student at UW-Madison, was found Wednesday afternoon at a home on West Doty Street, near the Capital.

Madison Police are ruling the death suspicious, but say there are no suspects.

Zimmerman lived with other people, according to police, but are not saying if anyone was home at the time Zimmerman died.

Police presence in downtown Madison has been increased.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call the Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. I too know how it is to lose someone suddenly. My cousin was recently murdered. Hope that didn't happen for you guys. Hope everything goes as well as can be in this kind of situation.
