Lieutenant Luke Heindel of the Wausau Police Department tells us no arrests have been made following the investigation of a Wausau home in connection to the homicide investigation of 25-year-old Rochelle Anderson.
Police were at the home at 220 North First Avenue Wednesday.
Witnesses told NewsChannel 7 two people from the home got into squad cars and went with officers earlier in the day. However, Tomahawk Police Chief Don Johnson says no arrests were made, but they do have solid leads in the case, which they are aggresively pursuing.
A gold Toyota Corolla taken from the scene by police matched a vague description of a vehicle witnesses say they saw at the scene of the homicide.
Police from Wausau and Tomahawk, as well as a State Mobile Crime Lab, were at the scene for most of the day, according to Chief Johnson.
Anderson's body was found late Saturday night behind a Tomahawk gas station and convenience store.
She had been beaten and stabbed to death.
