A Merrill company ranks as one of the country's top three stable insurance firms. Church Mutual Insurance Co. has a 50-year track record of getting superior ratings. Gov. Scott McCallum was on hand to present an award to the company, along with the state's insurance commissioner.
"As the largest insurer of places of worship in the U.S.", Gov. Scott McCallum said, "Church Mutual serves a vital area in the insurance market. It fills an important role by offering insurance services to places of worship that might not be able to afford insurance elsewhere."
Church Mutual Insures 81,000 religious institutions.
