Rothschild Police Respond To A Call Of Shots Being Fired

A 23-year-old Rothschild man is in custody after police say he shot a rifle from his driveway.
According to a news release, officers from the Rothschild Police Department, along with Everest Metro, Kronenwetter and the Marathon County Sheriff's Department responded to a home just after midnight on July 22 for the report of someone discharging a firearm.
Investigators determined the suspect was involved in an altercation with several other men in his driveway. The suspect went into the home and retrieved a .30-06 caliber rifle and fired four shots.
Police say no one was injured and the suspect, Kevin Olson was arrested without incident.
Olson is expected to be charged with recklessly endangering safety and endangering safety by the use of a dangerous weapon.
